A low vision assessment determines how you can make use of your remaining vision

We check both your distance and near vision, colour perception and visual fields.

Visual aids will be discussed and shown to you which may include

  • Telescopes
  • Handheld Magnifiers (with or without light or digital options)

Tips on Vision -eccentric viewing or coloured labelling and wearing a badge

As part of the NHS Scheme we supply low vision aids free of charge ( must be registered with a GP in Dorset)

We can also supply and look after you privately for a fee.
